Although foundation is one of the key priorities to cosmetics (or is it just me?), I didn't agree. Sadly, I'm just that type of person who jumps straight to conclusion about many things. That being said, I was indeed wrong about foundation -- I now realize from trial and error, that some foundation products just aren't for me! Foundation to me now IS key, all because of trying specific foundation from Estee Lauder and Lancome, I have jumped to that horrid conclusion. Luckily, I have finally tried a new one: Smashbox's foundation line! Even though I have not tried every single last one of their products, not to mention their foundation, I was convinced that when it comes down to it, Smashbox is the place to go! I don't mean to bash other companies and/or products, it's just my personal experience and opinion, so don't get me wrong. It all started a few days ago when I went to Sephora with my mom and a few others at the Mall of America, there were so many things to choose from ala cosmetics! I couldn't believe it, but yes, it was true! If you've been to a Sephora store, you notice that there are a variety of beauty and cosmetic lines, set up in their own little, individual space, rather than bunched together. So anyways, I stumbled upon the Smashbox area of the store, wanting to try some of their liquid foundation: High Definition Healthy FX Foundation SPF 15. I picked my swatch tone and what not, as I added just a little dab, blending it in circular motions, I could not believe my eyes! It seemed as if the foundation itself just disappeared, but with the benefits of hiding my impurities! I was sold, but sadly, it wasn't sold lol, I had no money, maybe next time? Here's the details of the products (From Sephora): An oil-free, weightless, liquid foundation packed with antiaging, revitalizing, and firming ingredients. |
